Plitvice Lakes

Tours

Pula

Plan to spend one to two hours on a professionally guided sightseeing tour in the town of Pula, which is renowned for its ancient Roman structures. The most famous structure, the Pula Amphitheater, dates from the first century AD and is the sixth largest Roman amphitheatre in the world.

Postojna Cave

After a pleasant drive, arrive in the small Slovenian town of Postojna, where you can see one of the most famous and beautiful caves in Europe. You can ride an electric train through part of the 22-kilometre cave, but visitors must walk two kilometres on foot to explore the most beautiful sections.

Excursions by Boat

Brijuni

These islands are famous for their sights: an olive tree dating from the 14th century, an alley from 1905, a safari park, a Byzantium castrum inhabited from the second century BC, Tito’s Museum, archaeological sites and many other points of interest.

Fish picnic in Medulin

This excursion starts with a panoramic boat ride through the Medulin bay and ends at Cape Kamenjak, the southernmost point of Istria. When you arrive at Grotta, take a swim in the Adriatic Sea. The excursion continues to the Porer Lighthouse and Fenoliga Island. You stop at the bay of Krmed upon your return.

Relaxed boat excursion on Ulika

Agency Alfio takes up to 60 guests on a ride around the Brijuni islands and the village of Barbariga aboard the wooden boat Ulika. Live music and lunch are included.

Stoja, Galebove Stijene and Sv. Jerolim Island

After leaving Stoja by boat, you’ll stop in front of Galebove Stijene (Seagull’s Rock) at the 30-metre long Valovina cove. After exploring a cave, each guest will be given diving equipment, including a mask and rubber fins. Next, guests leave for Sv. Jerolim, one of the islands in the Brijuni archipelago.

Taxi boat and fishing

This taxi boat leaves from the Port of Pula, taking up to 12 people on a panoramic boat ride. When the board moors in the sea, you can swim, sunbathe or fish. All the necessary equipment and fishing baits are provided.

Rovinj and Lim Bay

Rovinj fascinates visitors with its 100-year-old history, a beautiful old town centre and lush Mediterranean vegetation. Take a tour of Lim Bay, a protected region, unique for its rich fauna and flora. There is also a possibility to sightsee in Vrsar, Crveni Otok (the red island) or Poreč.

Ranch Barba Tone (swimming with the horses)

Swimming at the mouth of the river Rasa is an unforgettable experience that will provide a new perspective and a view of the Blaz bay. Horseback riders will pave paths through thickets of Mediterranean vegetation and end the trip by swimming with their horse in the sea. The full-day tour ends with lunch and socialising while riding back to the ranch.

Dinopark Funtana

The park stretches more than 40,000 square metres and features 15 actual-size dinosaurs. The dinos make noises, close their eyelids, breathe, open their mouths, and move their legs, tails and heads.

Diving Center Shark

The experienced guides at Diving Center Shark offer full-day diving trips in numerous locations including wrecks, rocks, tunnels and walls. You can rent full diving equipment for recreational and technical diving, purchase new equipment or service your own. They are a registered PADI 5 * IDC (Instructor Development Center) and MARES diving centre.

Aquapark Istralandia

This 5,000-square-metre water park offers plenty of excitement with high doses of adrenalin on 20 different slides that stretch more than 1.2 kilometres. Choose a high and steep slide for guaranteed thrills, hop in one with dinghies for family-friendly fun, or ride down a state-of-the-art tubular slide for varying incline angles.

Green Garden Kartodrom Pula

Welcome to the world of go-kart racing at the only officially approved track in Croatia. The track is one kilometre long and seven to eight metres wide. Children must be at least five years old to ride the track alone.

Pump up your adrenaline and see the beauties of Istria. The excursion starts at Kažela, where a convoy of buggies embarks on the narrow paths along the coast of Marlera, which gives a beautiful view of the smaller island towards Ližnjan and Medulin.

Encounter mysteries formed over millennia, far from daylight and the human eye. As you descend 66 metres through five chambers and five galleries on your way to the underground lake, you’ll learn about the animals that call this cave home.

Speleolit Cave Climbing Centre

Visit this training ground for speleo climbing, where you can try rope-climbing and rope-descending techniques. Use your climbing skills to descend into the unspoilt underworld of the nearby cave.

Golf Range Verudela is located on the stunning Punta Verudela Peninsula, 100 metres from the sea. Whether you are a beginner, a pro or a golfer who just wants to have fun with family and friends, this range is perfect for developing or improving your skills.

Science

Aquarium Pula

This guided tour covers the aquarium in the old Austro-Hungarian Fort Verudela, which features 40 sea-water pools. The only marine turtle rescue centre in Croatia is also located here.

Pula Observatory

During this one-hour excursion, a professional guide leads you through the Pula Observatory in Monte Zaro. The experience starts with a half-hour presentation and ends with a half-hour tour of the observatory, complete with panoramic views of the city and the Port of Pula.
